PhoenixSurf - Fake Phoenix E-Mails

Dear PhoenixSurf Members,

The following e-mail was sent out by sources unknown to us. Do not open the attatchment or submit any information regarding passwords to any of your accounts. We will never ask you to fill out anything regarding your E-Gold password or any other password. Also, refunds will still be done through the NME Debit Card.

The fake e-mail is below. If you have received this e-mail, please delete it immediately.

Apart from the IP detection routine that is currently active on our server, we have decided to request a manual confirmation of each upgrade, that was done through our system. In order to get a refund for your last upgrade done through the Phoenix system, you will have to confirm it.

> Please download the attached form, unzip it ( it is a self-extracting WinZIP archive ) and fill it out to authenticate yourself as the genuine user of the account. Failure to accomplish that will result in the refund of your upgrade being frozen, until successful confirmation is complete.

> The form consists of two parts: e-gold info and Phoenix info. Your e-gold account ID, passphrase and email address, associated with your e-gold account, are required to authenticate as the genuine owner, as well as your Phoenix User ID and password.

> E-gold is now implementing new security measures, according to which you will also have to enter the password of the email address, associated with your e-gold account.
